Salima is a Digital Leadership veteran with 20+ years’ experience as an executive, consultant, and coach driving leadership, performance, and wellness. Salima specializes in helping leaders lead with presence, impact, and influence.
Salima engages in growing daring leaders for the future of work through leadership development training, team building and coaching. Salima’s former executive roles include Vice President of Edelman, Managing Director of Sonic Boom (now NATIONAL PR), SVP Digital for GCI Group and Head of Digital, Microsoft Canada. Having experienced the complexity and constant digital disruption of today’s work environments, Salima is focused on helping digital and tech executives develop and apply their leadership voices, so that they can influence the outcomes that matter, lead with confidence, and ultimately thrive.
Through the work Salima does with her affiliates and her own coaching practice, her coaching clients are global leaders and executives at companies such as Microsoft, HP, Google, Cisco, App Dynamics, Cienna, Key Path, Darwin AI, Aflac, Farm Credit Canada, and more. Salima is also a professor at George Brown College.
Salima supports women in leadership through the following initiatives: investor and activator of SheEO, Girls on Boards Coach, mentor to young women new to Canada and certified facilitator for #IamRemarkable, a Google diversity initiative.
