Rob brings to The Exetor Group over 25 years of experience in leadership development, business management, psychology, behavioural economics, organisational change, cultural transformation, strategy consulting, executive coaching, and psychotherapy. The speciality topics that Rob currently coaches and facilitates include, centred leadership, changing mindsets and behaviours, performance improvement, problem solving, building empathy, trust and resilience, mindfulness, the neuroscience of change, and capability building.
Originally studying medicine, Rob began his business career in training and development of adult learning programs, before joining McKinsey & Company as a consultant in the Sydney office. He subsequently worked in private equity (New York), venture capital (Palo Alto) and for the Zurich-based search consulting firm Egon Zehnder. Returning to Australia, Rob founded and took on the role of CEO of the publicly listed AMA Group, before re-joining McKinsey and taking leadership roles in the practice areas of Implementation, Operations, Culture and Change, Behavioural Economics, Agility, and Organisational Design. Rob has also held board positions on over 60 organisations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
