As an executive coach, trainer, and speaker, Valia brings a holistic and intuitive leadership development approach focused on the discovery and dynamics of leadership branding. Valia’s passion for leadership is driven by rich professional experience in consumer marketing & branding, licensing partnerships, and management consulting with one common denominator – the ability to drive transformation through a fierce commitment to the human side of business.
Founder of the boutique leadership education firm, The Paradox of Leadership, Valia works with leaders and organizations that yearn for a more meaningful and impactful way of working, communicating, and leading. Her Executive coaching and training work span across industry and scope. Recent client highlights include: Facebook, WeWork, McKinsey, Edelman, Credit Suisse, UBS, DigitasLBi, Nielsen, Outbrain, and nearly all Ivy League institutions.
She proudly developed and teaches NYU Stern’s highly coveted “Inside-Out Leadership Program,” a course focused on helping seasoned Executive MBA professionals redefine their personal purpose. One of her deepest passions is bridging her love of leadership and hospitality, specifically leading transformational Women’s Leadership retreats and Executive Team offsites. In addition to her professional pursuits, Valia recently packed up her New York City life and moved across the country to Southern California to “walk her talk” of living a personal-values-based life. She dedicates a lot of her time to elevating leadership in the Greek-American community and recently served as President of Hellenic Professional Women, a non-profit focused on leadership education.
In this low-touch, high-pace, digital world, Valia (often referred to by clients as “The Executive Whisperer”) values human-to-human communication, genuine connection, and personal touch above all else.
