A people strategist, board advisor, and executive coach, Gulnar draws on a 20-year career across a wide range of industries and geographies. She is passionate about helping leaders understand and embrace inclusiveness, cross-cultural dynamics, and diversity. She enables them to gain a deeper self-awareness, to actively embrace change, and to recognize and harness differences. Her work is shaped by a powerful blend of natural curiosity, business acumen, in-depth research, and extensive experience.
Gulnar has worked with some of the largest Fortune 500 companies, such as Facebook, Pfizer, Morgan Stanley, Linklaters, Accenture, Janssen, Financial Times, Moody’s, and Young President’s Organization. She is often called upon by her clients to share her perspective as a cross-cultural expert, which is aided by her travels and life experience across the globe.
Her work is underpinned by a belief that better leaders will shape a better society and business. She is driven by a desire to optimize leadership outcomes and impact; whether through better productivity and effectiveness of people; developing a stronger employer brand to attract the ‘right’ talent, driving innovation through inclusion; creating enhanced employee engagement and commitment; or enabling high potentials to accelerate their growth.
She is also deeply committed to the advancement of women and other under-represented group leaders and bridging the gap between cultures, gender, and generations. Gulnar received the Diversity List 2020 Award from the Zubin Foundation and serves as a thought leader and spokesperson for the Women on Boards, Women of Influence, and the Women’s Foundation in Hong Kong. She also serves on the Kravis Leadership Institute advisory board and is a trustee of Pitzer College.
Based in London, Gulnar continues to service her clients in both the APAC region and the United States. She turns to nature, the arts, yoga, and meditation for inspiration and sustenance.
