Michelle brings to Exetor expertise in group facilitation, team dynamics consulting and individual change from her 15 year career as a practicing psychologist and trainer of psychologists. She is skilled at locating fulcrums for real change in individuals, and at helping leaders activate strengths by overcoming the obstacles that block optimal interpersonal effectiveness and business success. Her areas of specialization include coaching leaders on resolving seemingly unsolvable conflict and on producing the effective communication they intend. |

Michelle worked in account management for a major advertising agency and in fixed income research at a top investment bank prior to returning to graduate school for a doctorate in psychology. Throughout her subsequent career as a psychologist, she was involved in clinical research, assessment, and university teaching as well as counseling. Michelle has applied this expertise to her work now as a coach, with a style that is collaborative, direct, feedback-driven, future-oriented and solution-focused. |

Over the last 10 years, Michelle has also trained leaders and helping professionals learn to be better coaches themselves – bringing about transformational experiences for their clients and team members. She completed advanced post-doctoral training in group facilitation and systems theory gaining particular insight and understanding of the dynamic workings of groups and teams – and how individual members of those teams can initiate catalytic impact. Michelle’s background also includes extensive experience in coaching, teaching, assessment and scientific research at M.I.T, University of Hartford, St. John’s University, Pace University and Yale University. Most recently she has served as Director of Training at Pace University and at the University of Hartford. |
