A Case Study On Leadership Development

Challenge: To help a leading global services firm determine both the content and the process of practicing effective leadership across a variety of businesses. The firm had acquired many different units and now needed to fully integrate them behind a single leadership approach if the business strategy was to be successfully implemented.

Approach: Working closely with key client representatives, Exetor consultants helped the company design a blueprint for leadership talent development across the entire business. This development included implementing a leadership model linked to a performance management system and instating leadership development activities such as on-the-job coaching and mentoring and periodic assessments that would cover 7 to 10 years of an employee's tenure.

Result: The firm was able to keep its key leadership talent and grow it to effectively manage the changes that the firm faced in both the market and the economy.
