As part of the consulting process, The Exetor Group offers a range of assessment tools to clients. Like all of our approaches, our assessments were designed with the values — and time constraints — of executives in mind. If you have completed individual 360-degree assessments or team or organizational surveys in the past, you know how tedious and time-consuming they can be. That's why we assure that our assessment questionnaires are straightforward, concise, and productive. A distinctive feature of our forms is that they include space for narrative comments. Our research has shown that these unedited, candid remarks can provide leaders with powerful insights that simple "box checking" misses. We ensure the reports that result from the assessments protect the identity of respondents while providing accurate feedback to the leader. Our online assessments include:

Professional Effectiveness Survey (PES) - This is one of our most popular types of assessments, because it ties directly into listening, asserting, and influencing skills, core principles for leadership and personal effectiveness. The PES is comprised of about 40 statements that the subject is asked to rate in terms of how well each one describes him or her. Survey participants can easily see areas of strength and areas that need improvement and come up with a personal action plan.

Team Effectiveness Survey (TES) - This assessment is used by executive teams to evaluate both individual and overall team effectiveness. The TES results in a profile of each team member that helps the group determine whether it is properly utilizing the inherent talents and complementary skills of its members.

Leader Effectiveness Survey (LES) - The LES assessment targets specific leader behaviors and offers a synthesis of how the subject can better leverage his or her strengths. This assessment is based on the Exetor Leadership Model, which includes the assessment of both business and people leadership as perceived by superiors, peers, subordinates, and clients. This survey is frequently used to help our executive coaching clients understand personal leadership styles and set goals.

Organizational Effectiveness Survey (OES) - The OES assessment is a customized survey that targets key elements of an organization about which a leader may want specific information, such as the level of understanding of a new initiative by organizational members or the effectiveness of new systems and processes designed to achieve specific outcomes.

Custom Survey Services - The Exetor Group also offers customized 360-degree feedback survey services. The custom survey process involves working with clients directly by phone, email, fax, or Instant Messaging to help them launch their own Web-based 360-degree survey.
